Police name victim in fatal Auburn stabbing

AUBURN, Wash. – The King County Medical Examiner’s office said Monday that the 21-year-old man who was allegedly who was allegedly stabbed by his mother’s boyfriend last week was named Jaseree Fountain.

Auburn police said the 26-year-old suspect got in an argument with Fountain’s mom last Thursday night. Fountain tried to separate the two and calm the suspect down, police said, but the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed him to death.

Police said the suspect took off, but was arrested in Anacortes and booked for investigation of murder.

Police said they’re going to serve warrants on the suspect’s apartment and car.
