Shotgun-shooting robber: Help identify armed bandana-wearing crook who went on terrifying one-night crime spree

WANTED IN SEATTLE and KING COUNTY -- Detectives say this fugitive went on an armed robbery spree -- using a sawed-off shotgun in three holdups within 9 hours. The map below shows where all of the robberies occurred. The first one was on February 1st at about 6:50pm in the 700 block of S. 150th St. in Burien, where King County detectives say he and four others wearing masks stole a victim's backpack and took off in a tan four-door Audi type vehicle.

The other two robberies were caught on camera, so take a look at the video from the 7-Eleven store on California Ave. SW in West Seattle on Febuary 2nd at 2:20am. He walks in and goes to the left first, then walks down and around the counter and finds the clerk, they head to the cash register. The thief was nervous and fumbling with the shotgun, he's yelling at the clerk and demanding the cash. The clerk's got his hands up and he's like, ‘Alright man, just stay cool,’ but the crook is impatient and even fires off a shot right there. You could see the recoil of the shotgun. The shot hit the wall above the cooler and you can see the damage it did in a photo. He finally got the money and the cigarettes and he heads back around the counter and starts toward the door, you can see how he walks as he leaves. Less than an hour later, the same armed robber took that sawed off shotgun and held up a 76 station in White Center near 28th and Roxbury. You can see him wearing that blue bandana and a hat that says ‘Obey’ on the front. He's looking right down the barrel and ordering the clerk to give him cigarettes and money.

“You have to wonder about the character of this person when he's literally pointing the shotgun at the clerk, finger on the trigger, which ups the ante that this guy's desperate and is capable of using that shotgun. We need to get this guy off the streets before he actually hurts somebody,” says Jim Fuda with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. Detectives say the suspect is possibly white or Hispanic with light skin, 5'06" with a thin to medium build. He was wearing gloves that are black and have white and grey fingers. His black hat with the grey bill says ‘Obey’ and has a Velcro closure on the back and his baggy jeans have possible bleach spots on right rear leg. He had on white tennis shoes.
