SPANAWAY, Wash. -- Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying the person responsible for a bank robbery at knifepoint.

The suspect robbed the Harborstone Credit Union located in the 100 block of 167th St. S. around 5:45 p.m. Jan. 22.

Police said the suspect entered the bank wearing a mask, walked up to the counter and brandished a knife. He yelled at the tellers to give him cash, then took the money and ran off.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall, with a medium build.  During the robbery he was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, a black ski mask, and a dark baseball hat.
