Washington State running back cited for DUI

SEATTLE (AP) — Washington State University running back Jamal Morrow was arrested early Sunday on investigation of driving under the influence, Pullman Police say.


The Seattle Times reports (http://goo.gl/DwzP8V ) that, according to police, Morrow was pulled over at about 13:20 a.m. for driving the wrong way down a one-way street. His breathalyzer tests showed blood alcohol levels of .186 and higher.

Detective Sgt. Jake Opgenorth says Morrow, a sophomore, was taken into custody, cited for DUI and released. He has a court appearance in Pullman District Court on Tuesday.

WSU spokesman Bill Stevens declined to comment on internal team matters. A listed number could not be found for Morrow.

Morrow played 12 games at running back for WSU in 2015. He was voted captain in nine consecutive games in 2015.
