WEEKEND TRAFFIC: I-90 lane reduction, Green River Bridge closed in Auburn

SEATTLE — Washington transportation officials want drivers to be aware of some weekend bridge work in the Seattle area.

For the next two weekends, drivers heading west over Lake Washington will find all lanes of Interstate 90 rerouted to the express lanes.

The project will affect travel through 5 a.m. Monday and from 11 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday on the following weekend.

Another road repair project will close the Green River Bridge in Auburn this weekend. Crews are fixing roadway damaged by heavy rainfall during a December storm.
