Up to 450 needy local children getting toys from Santa, thanks to many of you

SEATTLE -- The Les Schwab annual toy drive, in partnership with Q13 FOX,  went into delivery mode on Christmas Eve.

All the toys donated by the public had been wrapped up by helpers at Les Schwab and volunteers, many from the Forgotten Children's Fun, headed out Thursday to deliver the presents.

Up to 450 needy children will be getting presents as volunteers visit at least 25 different sites across the Puget Sound. At least 35 people volunteered to be Santa Claus on Thursday and Christmas Day.

Organizers say this really make a difference for families who wouldn't have been able to afford gifts for their kids.

Every child will be getting three toys -- and a warm jacket!
