2 teens arrested in weekend shooting death of 17-year-old

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office has arrested two 16-year-old males in relation to Saturday's shooting death of a 17-year-old in Everett.

Officials say they took the two teens into custody early Thursday and booked them into the Denny Youth Center.

Earlier this week, they arrested 19-year-old Diego Tavares on a murder charge. He's being held on a $2 million bail.

Officials say they received a report of a shooting at a party at about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. Soon after, a shooting victim was left at Swedish Hospital.

The victim was moved to Harborview Medical Center and died Saturday afternoon.
