Deputy injured after patrol car t-boned by stolen car.

BURIEN, Wash - A King County Sheriff's deputy was slightly injured when his patrol car was t-boned by the driver of a stolen car in Burien on Sunday.

The accident happened just before 4 p.m. near Southwest 130th Street and 2nd Avenue SW in Burien, a press release from the Sheriff's office reported.

The collision slightly injured the deputy.  The man driving the stolen vehicle fled the scene and got away, police said.

Just before the accident happened, another deputy spotted the suspect's  vehicle, ran its license plates and determined that the car was stolen.

The stolen car hit the deputy's patrol car, spinning it around and into a nearby fence, police said.

The male driver jumped out of the stolen car, leaving a female passenger, who was transported to the hospital and released.

The sheriff's deputy is expected to be fine, police said.
