Bremerton woman arrested on suspicion of DUI, vehicular assault after 2-car crash

BREMERTON, Wash. -- A 39-year-old Bremerton woman was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of DUI and vehicular assault after she allegedly caused a two-car crash that resulted in a serious injury, the Washington State Patrol said.

The State Patrol said the driver was traveling westbound on State Route 304 just west of Bremerton when she made an unsafe lane change and collided with the car next to her. The driver of the second car, a 58-year-old Port Orchard man, was seriously injured and rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma.

The causing driver was arrested for DUI, unsafe lane change and vehicular assault.
