Air France flight from L.A. to Paris diverted to Utah after bomb threat; nothing found

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Officials say an Air France flight bound for Paris from Los Angeles was diverted to Salt Lake City because of a phoned-in bomb threat. The plane landed without incident and all the passengers got off safely.

The Air France Flight 65 plane that was diverted due to a bomb threat has been searched and rendered safe, Salt Lake City Airport Police Chief Craig Vargo said.

The plane was headed from Los Angeles to Paris.
