'I wanna help you:' Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch gives $500 to McDonald's worker
DALLAS -- A kind employee at a Dallas-area McDonald's Restaurant received a gift from Beast Mode.
Employee Terrance Downs gave Marshawn Lynch a compliment after the Seahawks Nov. 1 win against the Dallas Cowboys.
Lynch asked the 17-year-old what his plans were in life. He explained that he was into fashion and wanted to own a boutique
"I told him I liked his shoes -- navy blue Buscemis -- and how I wanted to buy a pair and we all started talking," Terrance Downs told TMZ Sports.
So Lynch decided gift the young man $500 saying "If you're serious about getting those shoes, here's some money to help you get 'em. My job is to continue to see you grow."
A McDonald's spokesperson confirmed the story to TMZ saying that Lynch had a positive impact on Downs who said he bought the shoes and is now more motivated than ever.
