Man reportedly shot by roommate in South Everett

SOUTH EVERETT - A fight between two men ended up with one man shooting and critically injuring his roommate Sunday, police said. The shooting occurred around 3 p.m. at the Bunkhouse Condos in the 900 block of 130th Street SE in South Everett, the Snohomish County Sheriff's office reported.

The 35 year-old victim was shot at the apartment he shares with his 24 year-old roommate and that man's girlfriend. An argument between the men escalated into a physical fight and resulted in the younger man shooting his roommate multiple times, police said.

Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries. The shooter surrended to police without incident and is in custody, police said.

The woman was not hurt and police recovered a firearm, police reported.
