Overturned semi blocks all lanes of westbound I-90 near I-5; backups expected



SEATTLE -- An overturned semi blocked all lanes of westbound Interstate 90 just after Rainier Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

The Washington State Department of Transportation tweeted about the crash at 1:45 p.m.



No one was injured in the crash. The cause is not yet known.

The truck is carrying 45,000 pounds of frozen food, officials said.

At 2:07 p.m., the traffic back-up was three miles and growing.
