Olympia man sentenced to 15 months for molesting 2 girls

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — An Olympia man accused of molesting two girls during a sleepover has been sentenced to 15 months in prison.

The Olympian reports Scott Nathan Graham was sentenced Monday. He previously pleaded guilty to assault with sexual motivation as part of a plea deal. The judge said he would have faced several years in prison if convicted as charged.

Police Det. Cori Schumacher had urged the judge to impose a harsher sentence, saying the plea deal was "a gift" for Graham, who was arrested in November 2014.

Court documents say two victims, ages 11 and 12 at the time, reported being sexually abused by Graham at a sleepover.

Graham declined to address the court Monday.

His sentence includes three years of probation. He must also register as a sex offender.
