Fire engulfs, destroys Auburn warehouse; cause of blaze under investigation



AUBURN, Wash. -- Firefighters battled a huge fire at the Monster Metal warehouse in Auburn for hours Tuesday night, Valley Regional Fire said.

Fire officials said the fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at the two-story metal warehouse at 2809 Academy Dr. SE.

The building owner said he and his dog were the only ones inside when the fire started, fire officials said. They were uninjured.

Fire officials said the warehouse was destroyed.  The cause of the fire was under investigation.
