Man shot in leg in Rainier Valley, Seattle police say
SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle police say they are investigating after a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg in Rainier Valley.
Police responded to a call from the victim at about 2:20 p.m. Thursday. The man told police a possible suspect had left the area driving a white SUV. Police say the man refused to provide other details.
The victim was taken to a Seattle hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Nearby Seattle public schools kept students inside for a short time while police investigated.
