Crews investigating head-on school bus crash near North Bend; students reportedly OK

NORTH BEND — Emergency crews are at the scene of a school bus vs. car crash near North Bend.

The crash occurred Monday morning in the 44600 block of Mt. Si Road in North Bend, the King County Sheriff’s Office said. The crash involved a school bus and a car, sheriff’s deputies said, and was apparently a head-on collision.

Sheriff’s deputies said kids on the school bus and the driver of the school bus are OK. The driver of the other vehicle has been taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Mt. Si Road is closed as investigators are on the scene.
