Man arrested in fatal shooting near Seattle's Chinatown

SEATTLE (AP) — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting near Seattle's Chinatown and International District.

The Seattle Times reports that a 24-year-old man was found suffering a gunshot wound in the back seat of his parked car Sunday afternoon. He died at Harborview Medical Center.

The 21-year-old was taken into custody and booked into King County Jail. A second suspect is being sought.

Police say witnesses reported seeing the victim with a group of people in the parked car. Three men then approached the car and a confrontation took place. Witnesses say everyone inside the car jumped out except for the victim. Someone opened fire on the car, striking the 24-year-old multiple times.
