2 teens, 2 adults killed when car went off road identified

TULALIP, Wash. -- The two teen girls and two adult men killed after their car left the road and landed in a fisheries pond were identified Wednesday.

Early Tuesday morning, sheriff’s deputies received a call that a truck had gone off the road, over a concrete embankment and into a fisheries rearing pond around in the 7500 block of Totem Beach Road.

Shari Ireton says the truck was submerged with all four individuals inside. She said all the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office completed the examination of all the victims. The victims were identified as Lynnishia M. Larson, 16, of Marysville, 21-year-old Tyson D. Walker of Tulalip, 15-year-old Ariela Vendiola of Marysville and 22-year-old Dylan Monger of Tulalip.

The manner of each of their deaths was listed as accident.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash. Ireton says they won’t know if drugs or alcohol were involved until all the evidence is gathered and toxicology tests are complete.
