19-year-old WSU student in hospital following fall out of sorority house window

PULLMAN -- A 19-year-old woman is in the hospital after falling out of a second-story window at a Washington State University sorority house early Friday morning.

Police were called to the Delta Gamma house around 2:30 a.m. with reports that a student fell out of a window, Pullman police said. Witnesses told officers the woman was leaning out the window to vomit when she fell 15 feet to the concrete ground below.

The woman was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to her face.

The woman was highly intoxicated at the time of her fall, police said.
