Seahawks, fans gear up for first day of training camp

SEATTLE -- Fans lined up at Renton Landing Friday morning, excited and happy to kick off the NFL season as Seahawks training camp begins.

Friday marks the first official practice of training camp for coach Pete Carroll and the Hawks. And the day started off with a bang, as news broke that quarterback Russell Wilson signed a 4-year, $87 million extension with the Seahawks.

It's not all peaches for the NFC Conference defending champions, however. According to SI.com, Seahawks safety Kam Chancelor will not report to training camp, holding out in hopes of scoring a better contract.

Q13 FOX News will cover training camp all Friday morning, and take you through until 11 a.m.
