WMW viewer tips lead to Utah arrest of felon wanted in Kennewick, by DOC in Tri-Cities

FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 11, 2015 -- West Bountiful Police and the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested Lance Horntvedt at a motel just outside Salt Lake City Tuesday night. Deputies say they got an anonymous tip from someone who saw him on the Washington's Most Wanted website, http://www.catchwmw.com As officers prepared to enter his room, Horntvedt stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and a K-9 immediately approached him. Horntvedt quickly surrendered. His girlfriend was also taken into custody but it's not immediately clear as to what charges she is facing. Horntvedt is the 660th fugitive caught since WMW started in 2008. He has a warrant for violating a court order. He's a High-Violent Offender who's also wanted by the Department of Corrections for breaking probation on assault and drug convictions. He's inked with a Panther on his right shoulder and another tattoo on his back with a large circular scar below it. He’s 6’5” and weighs around 210 pounds.
