Overnight shooting in Everett seriously injures 18-year-old, stray bullets hit homes



EVERETT, Wash. -- Police are searching for clues after gunfire erupted in the Evergreen neighborhood early Sunday morning.

Multiple people called 911 around 1:40 a.m. reporting several shots fired on the 100 block of 75th St. SW.

When police arrived, they discovered a man, 18, with potentially life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but his current condition has not been released.

Investigators also found a number of bullet holes, in at least two nearby homes and a boat, but no one else was injured.

Right now, no suspects have been named and no description of the culprit is available.
