Police: Man shot multiple times in South Seattle

SEATTLE - An 18-year-old man was shot multiple times in South Seattle and police are looking for a suspect.

Police said that the man was shot while standing at the corner of 46th Avenue South and South Henderson Street just after 1 a.m. Friday.

The victim was able to walk to a nearby school to call 9-1-1, police said.

Officers and medics arrived and found the man, along with mulitple shell casings on the ground. Medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The Seattle Police Gang Unit is talking to witnesses; there is no information on a suspect description at this time.
