Spokane County fugitive arrested after woman spots him in garage, leads police on high-speed chase in stolen car

FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 16, 2015 -- The Spokane County Sheriff's Office says Nathan Calvert was arrested and booked into jail Sunday night after a woman spotted him running from her garage and called 911. Calvert then led Spokane County deputies on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle before crashing it and running off. Deputies found him laying under a truck and arrested him. Besides being booked on his warrants for stealing a vehicle and theft, Calvert faces a new stolen vehicle charge as well as charges for hit and run, attempting to elude, residential burglary, possession of controlled substance and driving on a suspended license. FUGITIVE WANTED IN SPOKANE COUNTY July 10, 2015 -- Detectives say convicted felon, Nathan Calvert, stole a guy's custom-built, $6,500 bicycle from outside a restaurant while he ate. Deputies later cornered Calvert in a cul-de-sac and caught him. Now, he's skipping court and has a warrant for his arrest. Calvert was featured on Washington’s Most Wanted in 2012 when he escaped from Geiger Corrections Center in Spokane. He was caught several days later. Calvert has a ton of felony convictions on his record including burglary and getting busted with a stolen gun.
