Stay cool and chic for the 4th with these style ideas

SEATTLE -- Happy Fourth of July weekend! With a lot of us gearing up to head to family gatherings, parties with friends, or even just fun events, dressing the part can be fun. But who wants to spend a ton of money on a "red, white and blue" outfit if you're likely to wear it just once a year?

Darcy Camden and Tiffany Lowry to the rescue! Our style experts from Styl-FM Radio showcased everything from makeup to clothes, and here were their tips:

For makeup, Tiffany suggested white eye shadow, blue mascara, and red lipstick; and nearly all of the products she recommended come in at $8 or less.

For clothing, Darcy recommends doing away with the idea of buying a 4th of July-themed outfit that you'll only wear once. Instead, she suggests going all white and adding fun pops of the theme into your accessories. For the all-white bottoms, consider white denim instead of linen or another material, as the denim will be easier to keep clean and wrinkle-free.

When it comes to fun 4th of July accessories, Darcy showed us some fun scarves, sandals and even bags that carry the holiday theme enough to transform any outfit!
