Around 11 p.m., the male driver of a red Subaru was headed eastbound on Ne 65th Street when he hit the cyclist from behind near 15th Avenue NE, officers said. Numerous witnesses called 911, and medics transported the cyclist to Harborview Medical center, where he later died.
