Police: Suspects who fired at police during chase had baby in car

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. -- Police officers arrested four people following a high-speed chase and shootout Sunday on Interstate 90.

Around 11:30 p.m., Snoqualmie police found a suspicious vehicle at the North Bend Premium Outlets Mall, officers said. Police followed the vehicle for possible criminal activity, and the driver sped off, entering I-90 at a high speed.

As police officers chased the vehicle, a passenger allegedly fired multiple shots at a police squad car during the chase. No one was injured, and no bullets struck police cruisers.

Cops continued to chase the suspect vehicle, and the chase ended down a rural, dead-end road near Issaquah. Four people in the car were arrested, and an infant in the car was transferred to Child Protective Services.

The Snoqualmie Police Department is investigating the incident.
