Suspect arrested in Bellevue woman's strangling

BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — Bellevue police say they've arrested a suspect in the strangling death of a 29-year-old woman whose body was found in a vacant apartment in February.

The department announced Tuesday that detectives arrested 35-year-old Justin Matthew Gray Bacani on Monday. Authorities say he was identified as a suspect after detectives executed several search warrants related to the investigation.

Detectives said they found signs of a struggle in the apartment, including blood evidence that had been cleaned up. Investigators believe he was in the apartment at the time of death.

Bacani was booked into King County Jail, without bail, for investigation of second-degree murder.
