MUST SEE: Why is this trooper following a scooter down the road?

What's going on here?

Is a senior citizen really getting pulled over on a scooter?

Well no.

Washington State Patrol trooper Mark Francis told KGMI Radio that the woman on a scooter took a wrong turn and ended up four miles away from her destination, on Badger Road near Lynden.

The options: call for an ambulance to take the woman home, and wait for someone to come get the scooter, or simply escort her home.

So, the trooper escorted her home safely -- at a slow and steady 6 mph.

All's well that ends well.
