Deputies: ‘Elderly’ man told boy to ‘get into my truck’

MILL CREEK, Wash. — Sheriff’s deputies are looking for an elderly man who allegedly demanded a 13-year-old boy get in his truck, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The sheriff’s office warned of a possible attempted luring that occurred around 6 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Puget Park Drive and Silver Firs Drive in Mill Creek. According to deputies, a man in a gold pick-up truck approached a boy on the street and said “get in my truck.”

The boy quickly fled and was not hurt, deputies said. The possible suspect is described only as an “elderly” man with gray hair.
