CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Bandit burglarizes 'bikini barista' stand

SEATTLE -- Seattle police detectives want you to take a close look at some video footage, recorded earlier this month inside a “bikini barista” coffee stand in the Georgetown neighborhood.

A burglar in mask, gloves, jeans and a T-shirt can be seen rifling the stand on May 19 in the 6100 block of 4th Avenue South. After rifling through the shop’s cabinets and fridge, the suspect made off with juice, muffins, cookies and cash.

Detectives are also investigating whether the same suspect may have broken into another "bikini barista" coffee stand in the 500 block of S. Michigan Street a day later. In that case, someone pried their way into the shop at 3 a.m. and stole the entire cash register.

If you recognize the suspect or have any other information about the coffee stand break-ins, please contact South Precinct detectives at (206) 386-1855.
