Chicken truck stolen over weekend found abandoned
SEATTLE (AP) — A food truck selling fried chicken was stolen this weekend only to be found abandoned under a bridge in Seattle.
The Seattle Times reports that the Ezell's Express food truck, which serves Ezell's Famous Chicken, was missing from a Kent storage facility when owner Jennifer Stephens went to find it.
Stephens says the truck was found Tuesday evening under the Spokane Street Bridge with many items missing and the exterior vandalized. Ezell's will assess the damage, but Stephens says she hopes to have it back in business within the next few weeks.
Stephens says she isn't sure why anyone would want the vehicle, since it has "Ezell's" claim to ownership plastered all over it.
