After all these years, Nintendo finally asks Bowser to join the team

REDMOND, Wash. -- When he's not slinging fireballs and and stealing the princess from the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser is apparently a cutthroat salesman fit to lead major business operations.
Or, wait. What?
According to The Business Wire, Nintendo of America has hired Doug Bowser as a new Vice President of Sales. Bowser -- a name well-known in the Ninentedo world as the evil boss of Mario video games -- will oversee all sales functions, including in-store merchandising, retail strategy and retail marketing. Bowser will also manage Nintendo's key retail relationships, Business Wire reports.

"Doug Bowser is an outstanding addition to our Nintendo team," Nintendo of America's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing told the Business Wire. "He brings a deep blend of both consumer package goods and video game sales experience."
Bowser recently worked for Electronic Arts, where he served as the Vice President of Global Business Planning.
We're sure Doug is a great guy, and a great salesman. But how can we be sure he's not moonlighting, working from the inside to steal the princess?
