KING COUNTY, Wash. — A suspect was taken into custody after police say a man stole a car with a woman still inside.
According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, a 24-year-old man running from police stole a car and kidnapped a 23-year-old woman around 5:30 p.m. Sunday. This happened at a convenience store at S 288th Street and 51st Avenue S.
Authorities said police pursued the car through Kent, Federal Way and Auburn. The driver eventually crashed the car at 23rd and Milton Way, and he was taken into custody.
The woman was not injured.
