Ex-Seahawk Jerramy Stevens sentenced to jail time for DUI

TORRANCE, Calif.— Former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for a DUI, the LA Times reports.

The Times tweeted about the sentencing at 12 a.m. Friday.

Stevens entered a no contest plea to the incident in April.

The husband of women’s soccer star Hope Solo, Stevens was arrested in January in Manhattan Beach while driving a van owned by the U.S. women’s national soccer team. Authorities say Stevens’s blood alcohol level was at least 0.15 percent — nearly twice the legal limit.

Solo, who was with Stevens, was suspended from the national team for 30 days for what soccer officials only defined as health-related issues.

Stevens also has a 2007 DUI conviction in Arizona.
