Report: Parents used drugs as 'bargaining tool' for teenage kids who got good grades, did chores

FORT LARGO, Fla. --Two parents are accused of smoking weed and snorting cocaine along with their two daughters, aged 14 and 13, as a sort of incentive for good behavior, WFLA reports.

According to WFLA, Joey and Chad Mudd face child abuse charges after the pair smoked marijuana with their daughters as a reward for doing chores. Chad is also accused of snorting cocaine with the girls and one of their boyfriends.

"According to Joey, it was an incentive to the children," Pinellas Sheriff's Officed Spokeswoman Cristen Smith told WFLA. "If the children were going to school, doing household chores and such, that was incentive to smoking marijuana with her."

Joey has bonded out of jail, WFLA reports. Joey appeared before a judge Wednesday afternoon and his bond was set at $32,000.
