3.7-magnitude earthquake strikes near Arlington



Arlington- A 3.7 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Snohomish County and Skagit County early Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.  Some people said they felt the quake in Arlington and Mount Vernon around 1:42 am.

"We felt it on Highway 9 near Big Lake. Woke the kids and dog . You would have thought it was under my house," Danyell Enquist wrote on the Q13 Fox Facebook page.

The quake was centered about 14 miles ESE from Mount Vernon and 13 miles SE from Sedro Woolley, according to Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.

There are no reports of any damage.
