1 dead, 3 others injured in three-car crash on Interstate 5 near Boeing Field

SEATTLE -- A 23-year-old woman from Centralia was killed and three other people were injured late Wednesday night in a three-car crash on southbound Interstate 5 about one mile north of Boeing Access Road, the Seattle Fire Department said.

The Washington State Patrol tweeted just before midnight that a possible DUI may have led to the collision. But the cause of the accident was under investigation.

The crash closed three right lanes of southbound I-5 for almost 5 hours.

The Washington State Patrol identified the deceased woman as Andrea Dickey.

At least two people had to be extricated from the vehicles involved in the crash.

Washington State Patrol said that the accident scene was fully cleared around 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
