Fraud suspect wanted in Washington being held on 21 charges in southern Arizona

MARANA, Ariz. (AP) — Police said Tuesday that a woman wanted in Washington state for suspected fraud is being held in Arizona on suspicion of 20 felony counts of fraud and one felony count of computer tampering/altering there.

They say Manda Lynn Anderson, 38, allegedly increased her tip amounts on credit receipts on more than 100 customers' bills while working as a waitress in the Marana area, totaling nearly $1,400.

Police say Anderson also is being held on fugitive warrants for her arrest in Pierce County, Wash.

Washington authorities say Anderson is wanted for allegedly stealing more than $12,000 from multiple families in a house rental scheme, plus other fraud charges.
