Verdict reached in trial of man accused of shooting, killing Seattle teen

EVERETT, Wash. -- An Everett jury has reached a verdict in the trial of a man accused of killing a 15-year-old Seattle girl in a drive-by shooting in 2013.

The verdict will be read at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Jurors deliberated for about six hours Friday before telling a Snohomish County judge they reached a verdict on all but one count. That count was not revealed.

Superior Court Judge Thomas Wynne told lawyers he didn't believe jurors had deliberated long enough for him to declare a mistrial. He instructed jurors to continue deliberating Monday.

Molly Conley was fatally shot as she walked with friends along a Lake Stevens road.

The 28-year-old defendant, Erick Walker, is charged with murder, assault and five counts of drive-by shooting.
