KING COUNTY -- A wanted man spent seven hours hiding in the crawl space under a home in an attempt to avoid being arrested.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, the man was wanted for trafficking stolen property. Detectives found him while serving a search warrant at a vacant house in an unincorporated area of Kent.

It took seven hours to get the search warrant approved. As detectives searched the home, they found him curled up underneath the far side of the house, and had been there since police arrived Saturday afternoon.

The unidentified suspect was arrested for an existing warrant and booked into King County Jail late Sunday night.

Deputies said the suspect is the same man who eluded SWAT on Wednesday at a home in the same neighborhood.
