Couple caught on camera stealing donation jar marked for little girl awaiting heart transplant (VIDEO)



HAWAII – Two people, caught stealing from a little girl who is awaiting a heart transplant at Seattle Children’s Hospital, are now behind bars in Hawaii.

According to Hawaii News Now, 57-year-old Jeffrey Kleinschmidt and 45-year-old Kristin Johnson were arrested on Wednesday and charged with third-degree theft.

The couple was caught on camera stealing a donation jar at a smoke shop in Puna, Hawaii. That money was meant for an 8-year-old named Maddie Tamaki.

She is on life support at Seattle Children’s Hospital, awaiting a heart transplant.
