Robber caught on camera holding up Spokane deli with electric cattle prod (PHOTOS)

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — The Spokane sheriff's office hopes surveillance video identifies the robber who held up a deli with a cattle prod.

The man entered Didier's Yogurt and Deli on Sunday night armed with the foot-long electrical stun device and demanded money.

He fled with the cash from the registers.

"On January 17th, 2015 at approximately 8:30 p.m., the suspect entered Didier’s Yogurt and Deli located at 10410 North Division, displayed a 10-12” taser/cattle prod style electrical device and demanded money," wrote a sheriff's official on Facebook.

Deputies used a dog to try and track the robber, but with no success.

Authorities said the man had his face covered, but they described him "as male, 5’08” to 5’11” with a medium build, wearing dark colored clothing and white tennis shoes."

Spokane County Detective Kirk Keyser is asking anyone with information about the robbery to call him at 509-477-6611.
