Teenage student arrested after bringing gun to Seattle school



SEATTLE (AP) — Police say a teenage student has been arrested after bringing a gun to a south Seattle high school.

Officers received a report Tuesday afternoon from Interagency Academy that a male student was carrying a gun through a campus hallway. The school was locked down and police responded.

The student fled the building and was arrested. He was described as being in his late teens. Police recovered a gun.

There were no reports of gunfire or injuries.

The school was locked down for about 50 minutes.
