Gas prices in Washington fall 53-cents in one month



BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $2.37.

That's down 10 cents in a week and 53 cents in a month, but it's 24 cents higher than the national average.

The price has fallen below $2 a gallon in Spokane.

Some average metro prices from Monday's AAA survey:

Bellingham $2.32, Bremerton $2.32, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $2.50, Tacoma $2.39, Olympia $2.39, Vancouver $2.34, Yakima $2.30, Tri-Cities $2.18 and Spokane $1.98.
