1 wounded in Everett shooting, police investigating

EVERETT -- Police are investigating a shooting after a man in his early 20s was transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds Tuesday night.

According to the Everett Police Department, the victim was located around 8:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Lombard Avenue following calls of shots fired. The man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The man was not cooperative during the investigation, police said, and little information was known about a possible attacker. A motive for the shooting was not known, police said.

Little other information was immediately available.

Everett police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
