SPD: Man shot in foot in Seattle found in Renton

KING COUNTY -- A man was injured early Sunday after being shot in a south Seattle fight, but what led to the fight is still a mystery.

The biggest reason for the mystery is that the injured man is refusing to speak to police.

Seattle Police spokesperson Det. Drew Fowler said that officers were called out to the intersection of S. Henderson Street and Renton Avenue S. around 3 a.m. on reports of gun shots following an argument. Everyone was gone by time they arrived, but they found blood on the sidewalk.

Soon after, Renton Police found a man with a gunshot wound to one of his feet. The man said that he had been shot at Renton Avenue and Henderson, the location of the earlier incident. RPD officers then contacted their Seattle counterparts, and the injured man was taken to a Renton hospital.

Investigators from Seattle arrived at the hospital with hopes of interviewing the injured man about the south Seattle incident. However, the man refused to give any information and was uncooperative.

Fowler asked that anyone with information on the shooting call 911.
