Skiers, boarders enjoy holiday at Stevens Pass; Tips for beginners (VIDEO)

STEVENS PASS, Wash. -- Several hundred skiers and snowboarders hit the slopes at Stevens Pass on Christmas Day.

The area got nine inches of new snow in the past few days, and several lifts and runs were open.

Some of those enjoying the snow even offered some tips for beginners who might be thinking of going.
