High school coach arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching 17 female students

CAMAS, Wash. (KPTV) -- A Camas High School softball coach and custodian has been arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching 17 female students over the course of the past month.

Surveillance video helped detectives develop probable cause to arrest Robbyn Mattson, 58, on Friday, KPTV in Portland reported.

Investigators said they also spoke with Mattson, victims, witnesses and school staff members before making the arrest.

Mattson, who is coach of the school's softball team, has been booked into the Clark County Jail on eight counts of third-degree child molestation, five counts of second-degree sexual misconduct and four counts of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation.
